We want you to find lasting freedom!
Transforming journey’s are unique to the individual
Hi! We're Kevin and Shannon. We’re partners in life, in sobriety, and now in this mission: to offer a different kind of conversation around recovery.
Our story starts at a pretty unexpected place: detox. We met at one of the lowest points in both of our lives, emotionally, mentally, spiritually. Every professional and every piece of advice said “whatever you do, don’t start a relationship right now.” But something deeper pulled us together.
We didn’t start out planning to build a life together. But we grew individually and side by side. Through relapses, reckonings, and rebuilding, we found our way to a love rooted in honesty, grit, and radical acceptance. Now we’re here, living unscripted, sober, and showing up for this community in the same way we once needed others to show up for us.
About Us
Meet Shannon
I’m Shannon: 39, a mom to two wild, wonderful kiddos: Addison (9) and Caden (10). I grew up in Edina, Minnesota, a bubble of hockey rinks, and a whole lot of “Minnesota nice.” I spent my teen years following the Backstreet Boys around the country (no shame), and traveling the world with my family, soaking in cultures, languages, and the sense that there’s always more to learn.
Professionally, I’ve spent my career building and scaling Customer Success teams at high-growth SaaS companies. Retention, growth, and building relationships that last are kind of my thing. I hold two degrees from the University of Denver, one in Communications, the other in Spanish and have always been drawn to connection, culture, and the art of making people feel seen.
I live with Alcohol Use Disorder, Hashimoto’s disease, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder, three things that don’t define me, but have deeply shaped the way I move through life, recovery, and motherhood.
Recovery for me hasn’t been linear. I’ve been through more than 20 inpatient rehabs, made it through five years of sobriety before relapsing, and learned that true freedom didn’t come until I let go of who I thought I had to be, and started getting honest about who I actually was.
Meet Kevin
Hey, I’m Kevin. 32, originally from Omaha, Nebraska, and now living in Colorado for the past 7 years. I grew up playing sports, traveling with my family, and enjoying all things outdoors. After years in physical product sales, I transitioned into SaaS Sales Development, where I’ve found my rhythm helping people connect to the tools they need to grow their businesses.
Anxiety has been my biggest hurdle and where I’ve found freedom is in physical fitness.
My path to sobriety wasn’t clean or easy. I met Shannon in detox…when everything was stripped away and slowly started putting my life back together. Recovery isn’t something I take for granted. Every day I choose it, and every day I learn a little more about who I am beyond the struggle.
